I don't think you've overdone the lines, I like it this way. And now I find the highlights 
If you want to play with the pic more, I suggest you to make the outlines more thiner, cleaner (of course if you can/want, I know it's a big work :S), and make the area over the water, behind the grass a little darker. It would be some horizont-like part. But still: just ideas that crossed my mind, it's a great work how it is now
